Sapa

Different from other cities of Vietnam where you and be burnt out by the heat, Sapa is where you can find yourself cool out any time.

 

Shall we escape from the modern life with high buildings to Sapa where imposing mountains are situated? Shall we meet up our friendly friends of ethnic minorities and learn more about their culture and lives? Then, let’s get on a the bus and start!

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa

06h30 – 07h00: We will pick you up at your accommodation in Hanoi, then we will start the trip to Sapa.

 

09h30: Get tired? Let’s take a first comfortable break in Lao Cai and prepare for the next drive to our destination.

 

11h00: Since the travel from Hanoi to Sapa is a long distance so we will also take a second break in Lao Cai before approaching Sapa.

 

13h00: Finally, we arrive our destination - the cloudy town with colourful traditional costumes of ethnic minorities of H’Mong, Dzao, Tay. Think no more to take a drink and listen the itinerary briefing. Don’t forget to enjoy local Vietnamese lunch to re-energise yourself again.

Trek Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai -

Ta Van village

14h15: Stay relaxed while taking a short drive to Y Linh Ho. Then we will do a 9-km trekking in 3,5 hours through the rice terraces along Muong Hoa Stream to Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. We will approach Ta Van village where Zay Ethnic People inhabits in late afternoon.

 

17h45: It’s time to check in the homestay and greet the family of Dzay People. Friends, no hurry to lie down on bed. Take time to admire the sunset on the mountains to keep the amazing moment.

 

You will attend a cooking class of local dishes with the family and enjoy dinner with them in peace. In the evening, you can join the local bar nearby with music and socialize with other tourists then stay overnight at the homestay.

Day 2: Sapa - Ha Noi

08h00: It’s time to wake up, friends! Let’s enjoy the breakfast prepared by the family and we will start a new day with an interesting trek under an ideal cool weather.

 

08h45: Let’s do a walk to the rice paddies where you have a nice photo session of the spectacular landscapes. Then, shall we do a 4-km trekking through the bamboo forest and stop to have a panorama view of Giang Ta Chai village – home of red Dzao People?

 

11h00: Come on friend! Let’s trek together through Giang Ta Chai Bridge to main road, the bus is waiting for us to come back Sapa.

Enjoy your free time

12h00 – 15h00: Get sweaty? Take time to have a shower at hotel, then we will have lunch together. After that, it’s your leisure time to do anything you want before we come back.

 

15h00: Let’s gather at the hotel with all group members to get on the bus to go back to Hanoi. We will also have two comfort breaks during the travel.

What to bring?

  • Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March

  • Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March

  • Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary

  • Cash in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa

  • Medicine although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick

Special notes: 

  • Aged people should not attend the long trek (9 kms) due to its challenge and danger in case of rain

  • Handicapped people and children under 6 years old should not attend this tour

  • Homestay is totally different from hotel due to its basic and simple facilities

Finish Tour

21h15: We will drop you off at your accommodation and say goodbye together. It’s sad but it’s the end of the trip!
